Helping Out!
North, a St. Louis based marketing firm, recently joined forces with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to help out a friend and teammate, Jamie Parker. While working hard to carry out the mission of LLS, Jamie is raising money for a five year old family friend currently undergoing treatment for Leukemia.
Social responsibility and helping the community is very important at North. If a donation on our part can help save a life, we will always be on board! North was able to donate a significant amount to help Jaime.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization devoted to supporting and funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services. Their mission is to cure Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and Myeloma while striving to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. Every four minutes a person is diagnosed with a blood cancer, and the LLS estimates about 137,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed in 2010 alone. North is very proud to be helping such a cause.

North’s Management Team Visits Miami!
Our management team recently returned from a fun weekend getaway to sunny Miami, FL! The team flew down Thursday, August 5th and spent that weekend enjoying the beach–and all the fun outdoor activities that go along with it! The team spent the weekend at the beautiful Fountaine Bleau Hotel located on the beaches of the Atlantic! The trip, known as R&R, is a weekend reward for all the hard work our management team does! While the trip is an opportunity for fun in the sun, it is also a time for managers to conference with top consultants from all around the country!
Operation Smile!
Today several members of North‘s team are en route to Miami for R&R! In honor of their trip and R&R, we have created a Team Office Donation Page for Operation Smile’s Adopt a Smile Program! We are inspired by their mission to heal

North’s New Office in Chattanooga!
Today is a very exciting day for one of North‘s assistant managers, Bob Edwards! As we type, Bob and several other members of North‘s team are trekking down to Chattanooga, TN! Bob, along with Jeremiah, Corey, Amanda, Kevin, and Katie, is making this big move to Tennessee in order to open a new office for North in Chattanooga!
Bob, a St. Louis native, attended Evangel University in Springfield and graduated with degrees in Public Administration and Business Administration. In April 2008, Bob joined North as a sales rep and he advanced quickly. After being promoted to Assistant Manager and learning the ins and outs of running an office, he began preparations to open his own office for North! While we are sad to see Bob and his team leave St. Louis, we are so excited to open a new office! We expect big things from Cannonball, Inc. (Bob’s new company) and we can’t wait to plan a road trip south to visit him! Good luck, Bob!!

The past few weeks have been busy at North! We’ve had lots of fun visitors from our Detroit office and we made sure to show them a fun time in St. Louis! Visitors and Kickball!
After another busy week here at North, we are all looking forward to a holiday weekend of rest, relaxation, and fireworks! The week started off BIG with Nicole opening her own office in Chicago, Coast Inc! She and the rest of her team are working hard in the windy city and they almost have their first official work week as a company under their belt!
In St. Louis, our team has been working hard in the field all week! Also working hard are our visitors from the Detroit office who are finishing up their second week of training with North! Joining his team in St. Louis yesterday was Mike Rosenberg, the president of Detroit Business Consulting! Mike (pictured to the left of Rebby, President of North) made the trip from Detroit to visit North and to see how the training of his team was going!
To celebrate everyone’s hard work in the field and in the office this week, we planned an extra special team night! Last night, we met on a different type of field (baseball field) in Forest Park to compete in a friendly game of kickball! It was a beautiful summer evening and the perfect night for a fun competition! Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to relax and unwind after a busy week!

Coast, Inc!
We are very excited to announce that Nicole Skovgard, a manager at North, moved to Chicago this past weekend to open her very own office!! Nicole, originally from Long Beach, CA, attended Indiana University and later graduated with a Communications Degree.
She then moved to St. Louis and joined our team in July of 2007! She was quickly promoted to Management in March of 2008! Since then Nicole (pictured to the left of Rebby, North’s President) has been a hardworking and successful member of North’s management team! She has spent her time with North gaining valuable management experience that will be extremely helpful now as she opens her own office, Coast, Inc!
Joining her in the Windy City are three other members of North‘s team! And while we are really going to miss everyone, we look forward to working closely with Coast, Inc. in the future! We wish Nicole and her team all the best and we can’t wait to come visit!
Our Field Day Team Night!
Last night for our weekly team night, we planned a fun field day themed evening! After a busy day in the field and in the office, we met at Forest Park (pictured) for a sports-filled evening of fun! It was a beautiful summer night, a perfect one to be spent outdoors! We competed in games like a balloon toss and spent the evening releasing our inner child! Joining us for the festivities were our visitors from Detroit! They were a great addition to group and brought lots of energy to the competitions! We’re now re-energized and ready to end this week on a high-note!
Mid-week Update!
Much has been happening at North the past few days, so it’s time for an update! Last night was our weekly sand volleyball game at Wave Taco! And for the third week in a row, we were victorious!! These games are a great way to get together after a busy day of work and have some fun as a team! Come cheer us on next Tuesday night!
In other news, Rebby will again spend the next few days in the Windy City visiting Wrinado’s office! We hope she has another successful Chicago trip! Here in St. Louis, we are really enjoying the time spent with our Detroit visitors! They are a smart and fun group of people and we are thrilled to get to know everyone! We also have big news about our website! Yesterday, North’s website was updated and now includes a page which features profiles of several members of our team! To check it out and get to know some of our people, visit our website and click the ‘culture‘ tab! Then if you click the thumbnail images at the bottom of the page, you will be able to read a short bio on each person! We love this wonderful new addition to our website!
And lastly, we have some exciting promotion news! First, earlier this week Dustin was promoted to Leadership! We appreciate all his hard work and effort–congrats, Dustin! And also, check back next week for some big promotion news involving a certain member of our office!
